TRAVEL GUIDES
My travel guides are packed with practical tips and first hand advice to help you explore more, and better. Whether you’re exploring my home country and wandering around the quaint villages of The Cotswolds, hiking the Seven Sisters Cliffs on the coast or have flown all way to South America to embark on a 3 week trip through Peru to see the iconic Machu Picchu, my guides include the best things to do, where to stay, how to get around, what to expect for costs, and my personal recommendations on things like food, attractions, and safety.

MY ESSENTIAL TRAVEL TOOLS
Travel insurance
Ever since I started travelling full time, I have used Safetywing, and I made the switch because it was 80% cheaper than what I was previously paying and had just as good coverage. I’ve claimed a couple of times without issues, so they’re what I always recommend to others. I actually wrote an in-depth SafetyWing review if you’d like to learn more about them.
Accomodation
My go-to for accommodation is Booking.com and that’s because I get 6x the Avios points when I book via the Avios app – meaning I get more points per ยฃ on my credit card to fly for free. If I can’t find what I’m looking for on Booking.com then my next best option is Airbnb.
Flights
I usually set up a Google flight alert ahead of a trip in order to catch the price when it’s low, or if it’s last minute I’ll check Skyscanner. Where I can, I’ll use my Avios points, but I’ll only do this for long-haul flights as thats where you’ll get the maximum value. I use the Amex Gold to collect the points – if you’re from the UK, you can use my link to sign up to get some additional bonus points – it’s usually enough to cover a full long haul flight!
eSim
When travelling abroad, the first thing I do is install and eSim ahead of time. It just makes me feel safer (especially if I’m travelling solo) to be connected. Airalo is the first one I used, and after trying a couple of others, it’s still the one I go back to.
